"After some back and forth emails I placed an order for the Migstand to install on my 1995 R100GS. It was shipped the day after my order confirmation and arrived on the East coast of the US a week later. Upon receipt it took less than 10 minutes to install. The Migstand uses an engine mounting bolt and machined parts that clamp around the frame. It is very secure. The footplate is adjustable for length so you can establish any lean angle. The footplate is 2.25"/57 mm and provides a very stable base. Another fine design feature are the mounting pins fort he retracting spring. In one position the stands stays down when activated. In the second position the stand retracts when the bike is moved vertical. You have the best of both worlds. I highly recommend this product."

"I ordered this side stand for my R80 ST. The original BMW side stand was simply mounted in the wrong position for me and after removing the motor protection bars I had to find a new solution anyway. So I found this one mentioned in some forums and contacted Michel. Luckily he had one in stock and ready to be shipped. Only a few days later I received it and 10 minutes later it was mounted. The stand doesn't come with mounting instructions but it's obvious where everything goes. It's only 3 screws and everything fits perfectly. It is super high quality (weighs a ton compared to the original part) and looks great on my bike."
