This GPS mount for your BMW R1200GS (NOT Adventure) puts your GPS where it belongs: just below your line of sight, just above the speedometer.  When looking at your GPS, you don't take your eyes completely off the road, as you would with a handlebar mount.  As you can still see what is going on in traffic, this is a much safer solution.

* works without RAM accessories, the unit cradle is mounted directly on the mount surface (screws included)
* the Garmin Zümo 220/550 cradle fits straight out of the box, screws are included with the mount
* to fit the Zümo 660 cradle, custom spacers are included
* adjustable in one plane (height & swivel), position is fixed by 4 screws
* the mount is bolted to the metal plate between the dashboard and the windscreen
* leaves no trace when removed
* mounting takes about 15 minutes

* NOT for the 2008 and later model

* not compatible with some aftermarket dashboard coverplates
